Calabria Ristorante in Long Beach Island

was disappointed with the price/ quality relationship. seems they prey on the tourists. I ordered a large sausage / onion pizza. couldn't find much or taste any sausage for the extra cost. also ordered a white pie with spinach. the extras were inches away from the crust. not acceptable. as a local of over 20 years, I wont go back. I understand the need to make their $$ during the short season, but 52$ for 2 pizzas and not get quality products , forget about it.....

Tried to go here for lunch, but they were closed for a private party. No sign outside, no sign on the door???

Extra for angel hair instead of spaghetti extra for a different sauce. Really???? Probably extra for a doggie bag if we wanted one. Really?

My favorite dish! Crab over pasta!

Ravioli was surprisingly bland - like it was frozen with jar sauce. Except for the veal marsala, it was delicious.

Worst food and worst service I have ever encountered in a very long time I would not recommend going to this place. They were also very impolite to my family and I and I was amazed they would treat anyone in that manner. We are home owners in LBI and there are many nice places to go to in the area but this place is one of the worst I have ever experienced!!

The food is horrible the sauce has a horrible taste the waiters are very unprofessional with tattoos and waiter so slow STAY AWAY FROM THE SAUCE AND THE PASTA WITH CLAM SAUCE WAS SO GREZZY AND NASTY HORRIBLE

Pizza/ salad special for $21.... everything's delicious....fast service on a weekday evening.

Had the gnocchi and a Hawaiian pizza. Gnocchi came in sauce baked with mozzarella. The hawaiian pizza was a thin and crispy crust thick cut ham and bacon, with pineapple. One the best hawaiian pizzas I have had.

Our favorite restaurant in LBI, we dine here every time we visit the island. Food is always delicious l and the service/owners are friendly and inviting. Make sure you try the zeppolis for dessert!

We've been coming back every year for the last 15 years we've been visiting the island. Food is consistent. Food is delicious. The owners remember us and always thank us for coming back!

Nice Italian place to eat, a little upscale and pricey but worth it with the service and food you are getting in return. Waiters are nice and always check up on you. No one is "unprofessional" here as reviews said, 4/5!!

Pizza, Pasta, Steaks, Seafood, Salads, Desserts!!!! So many great dishes it is hard to try a new thing since the last time you went you LOVED the dish you had! BYOB, family friendly. Staff is very, very nice!

Really nice pizza! A must try is they white cream Pizza! It's an artisan kitchen which is worth trying if you are in the area. Good for take aways too!

Good food! My fiancee had a flounder francais that was excellent and my clams casino was wonderful! My best friend had the veal marsala with calamari appetizer. The sauce accompanying the calamari was also wonderful. Cordial atmosphere and friendly service. Gives the appearance of a simple pizza shop but delivers first rate cuisine. I would definitely eat there again

We expected more of a restaurant type setting, this turned out to be a pizza place setting. The food was ok, I got the eggplant parm dinner, my significant other got the ravioli. We both received salad which was very good. The dinner rolls were ok, but a little stale. The sauce wasn't doctored up much, tasted straight out of the can. All in all it was moderately priced, and the food was decent. Im not sure I would go again with all the choices on the island, but definitely not horrible.

The food is delicious with generous portions and reasonable prices. The Mgmt and staff are very accomodating and SO friendly. They have a large selection of early bird specials, outside seating and handicap accessiblablity. Good for large parties or a good hearty homemade family meal.

If you like prego pasta sauce you'll love this place. Under cooked pasta, microwaved garlic bread and seating so tight just engage in your neighbors conversations.

The hostess, likely the owner, is rude and seems downright annoyed when people come in. We stopped going since there are many other places to eat where they are much more pleasant.

They add a surcharge for credit card payments and don't tell you this up front. Food was OK service was good.

We were looking for an old school NY neighborhood type place so we made reservations for six and gave it a try. We weren't disappointed. Appetizers included fried calamari, baked clams and the burrata special. Main courses included Shrimp Scampi, Calamari Fra Diavolo, baked gnocchi, kids spaghetti & meatball, plus homemade manacotti. Desert was excellent too. We noticed some tables ordered pizza, which look pretty good. I really don't get scathing review below as our experience was the complete opposite.

Good food, beach prices but I'm a big fan of byob.
